Getting started

How to get started

Five steps, and we explain each one before it happens. You approve the plan before any therapy begins.

How do I start ABA therapy?

Call (786) 432-7113 or send the form. We check your insurance coverage, schedule a behavior assessment with a BCBA, and give you a written plan to approve before any therapy begins.

1

Call or send the form

Call (786) 432-7113 and tell us about your child in your own words. There is no script and no screening quiz. If it is easier, send the form and we will call you back.

2

We check your coverage

We take your plan details over the phone and verify the benefits with your insurer. We tell you what we find, including anything you would owe, before you commit to anything.

3

Assessment with a BCBA

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst spends time with your child, usually across more than one visit and setting, and spends time with you. We use established assessment tools rather than a questionnaire.

4

Your plan, and your approval

You get a written treatment plan with goals in plain language, in English or Spanish. Nothing starts until you have read it and agreed to it. If something does not match what you see at home, say so.

5

Therapy begins, and we measure it

Sessions start at home, at school, or in the community. We collect data on every goal and review it with you, and we tell you when something is not working rather than waiting to be asked.

Start with a phone call

It is the fastest way to a straight answer, and you will speak to someone who can actually tell you about coverage and timelines. Mon to Fri, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Questions about getting started

If yours is not here, the fastest way to a straight answer is a phone call.
