Insurance and coverage
Insurance and coverage
Cost is the first thing most families ask about. Here is a straight answer, with every plan we accept named in writing.
Does Medicaid cover ABA therapy in Florida?
Yes. Florida Medicaid covers ABA therapy for children with an autism diagnosis when it is medically necessary and prescribed. We accept Florida Medicaid along with Simply Healthcare, TRICARE, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Florida Blue, Cigna and Evernorth, Aetna, and Curative, and we check your benefits before you commit to anything.
Coverage for ABA is often better than parents expect. Florida Medicaid covers it, TRICARE covers it through the Autism Care Demonstration, and Florida law requires certain state regulated plans to cover the treatment of autism including applied behavior analysis, subject to the conditions in that law.
We are deliberately not telling you that your plan must cover it. Which rule applies depends on the kind of policy you have, who regulates it, and your child's age and diagnosis, and getting that wrong would be worse than saying nothing. What we will do is read your actual plan and tell you what it says.
The usual blocker is not whether a plan covers ABA. It is the paperwork, and that part is our job rather than yours.
What we will never do is start services and work out the money afterwards.

Plans and benefits change, and a policy is sometimes administered under a different name from the one on the card. If you do not see your plan, call us anyway and we will check properly.
What do you need from me?
Four things, over the phone. Please do not send these through this website.
The name of your insurance plan
The member ID from the card
Your child's date of birth
Whether your child already has an autism diagnosis
If you do not have all four, call anyway. We would rather start the conversation than wait for a perfect set of details.
