In-home ABA therapy

One-to-one therapy on your child's own ground, planned and supervised by a BCBA.

What does in-home ABA therapy involve?

In-home ABA therapy means a trained therapist works with your child in your own home, on the routines that happen there. A BCBA writes the plan, trains the team, and adjusts it as your child progresses.

Sessions happen where the skill is actually needed. Getting dressed is practised at the time your child gets dressed, in the room where it happens, with the clothes they own. That is the whole point of coming to you, and it is why a skill learned this way tends to hold.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst assesses your child, writes the plan, and stays responsible for it. A Registered Behavior Technician runs the day to day sessions under that supervision. You are not handed to a technician and forgotten.

We measure whether it is working, and we say so either way. If a goal is not moving, we change the approach rather than keep running it.

Who is it for?

  • Children with an autism diagnosis, from toddlers through teens.
  • Families who want care at home rather than in a center.
  • Parents who want to be in the room and learn the strategies themselves.
  • Families across Miami-Dade and Broward who need a team that travels.

What do we work on?

Communication

Asking for what you need, being understood, and understanding others. With speech, with signs, or with a device, whichever fits your child.

Daily living

Dressing, eating, sleeping, toileting, and the ordinary routines that make a day run.

Play and social skills

Taking turns, joining in, and managing the back and forth with other children.

Behaviors that get in the way

We work out what a behavior is doing for your child, then teach a skill that does the same job more safely.

School readiness

Following routines, sitting with a task, and coping with transitions.

Independence

Doing more without a prompt, which is the goal of every plan we write.

Where it happens

We travel to your child across Miami-Dade and Broward. There is no clinic to drive to.

At home

Where the daily routines actually happen, with your own things, at the time of day they matter.

At school

Working alongside the school team on the demands of a school day, with the school's agreement.

In the community

The shop, the park, the waiting room. The places families tell us are hardest.

Is it covered by insurance?

We accept Florida Medicaid, Simply Healthcare, TRICARE, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Florida Blue, Cigna and Evernorth, Aetna, and Curative. Plans and benefits change, so we check your coverage and tell you what to expect before you commit to anything.

It depends on the assessment, your child's goals, and what your plan authorizes. It can range from a few hours a week to a full program. We will tell you what we recommend and why, before you agree to anything.
